Privacy Policy

• Conversations — stored locally via on-device storage (SwiftData). Never uploaded.
• AI inference — every response is generated by a model running locally on your device's own processor and (where supported) GPU. No conversation content is sent over the network to generate a response.
• Memory — Earthscale's optional cross-chat memory feature uses on-device embeddings and local storage only; nothing about what it remembers is transmitted off-device.
• Attached photos — processed on-device by the local vision-capable model; not uploaded anywhere.

• Model downloads: choosing to download a language model fetches that model's files from its public host (e.g., Hugging Face) over a normal HTTPS connection — this is a file download, not a data upload; nothing about your conversations is included.
• Subscription/purchase processing: handled entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit) under Apple's own privacy policy. Earthscale does not process or store your payment information.
• Optional local analytics: if enabled in Settings, basic usage counts (e.g., tokens generated) are kept only on your device to power the in-app Compute screen. This is never transmitted anywhere, and is off by default / user-controlled.

• Notifications — to deliver reminders you've explicitly asked it to set.
• Reminders (Apple Reminders) — only to add a reminder you've confirmed; Earthscale does not read your existing Reminders.
• Camera / Photos — only to attach an image to a message you're sending; images are processed locally.

Deleting a conversation, clearing memory, or deleting the app removes the corresponding data from your device. Because nothing is stored on Earthscale's servers, there is no remote copy to separately request deletion of.

Earthscale is not intended for anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

This policy may be updated as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
